Originally from the WA coast this hardneck garlic has been known to tolerate moist, humid conditions. If you're in a coastal (or otherwise warm and wet) region and struggle with Rocamboles, give Island Rocambole a try. Likes a mild-moderate cold winter, and seems to struggle after extreme winters; consider German Red instead if you're in an area that has long, very cold winters.
